The Newborn Experience

I’m intentional about creating a calm, guided experience from the moment you inquire to the day your images are delivered. If questions come up at any point—before, during, or after your session—I’m always happy to help.

BEAUTIFUL PROPS & WRAPS

Your session includes access to my full collection of wraps, layers, headbands, and carefully curated styling pieces. I am especially drawn to soft, neutral tones and have built my newborn prop collection around timeless creams, ivories, taupes, and warm earth hues. These colors are a staple in my studio and create the calm, organic look you see throughout my work.

You’re always welcome to select your favorites, or you can trust me to thoughtfully design a beautifully cohesive setup that reflects my signature neutral aesthetic.

SAFETY FIRST

Your baby’s safety is always my top priority. I follow professional newborn safety practices during every pose and wrap to ensure your little one is supported and comfortable throughout the entire session.

CAREFUL POSING

Babies lead the way during newborn sessions. I never place a baby into a position that feels forced. If your little one isn’t comfortable in a pose, we simply move on to another—there is always a beautiful alternative.

THE BOOKING PROCESS

Newborn sessions are scheduled by due date to allow flexibility around your baby’s arrival. After selecting your package, you’ll receive your contract to review and sign electronically. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to reserve your due date, with the remaining balance due on the day of your session. Packages start at $490. Once you are officially booked, I’ll send you detailed information to help you prepare.

YOUR SESSION

Within 48 hours of your baby’s birth, you’ll reach out to let me know your little one has arrived. At that time, we’ll choose the exact date and time for your session. Newborn sessions are intentionally scheduled for 2–4 hours to allow plenty of time for your baby’s needs. There is no rushing—your little one is welcome to take breaks to feed, be cuddled, or have a diaper change whenever needed. This slower, baby-led approach creates a calm environment and ensures your session is as gentle and comfortable as possible for both baby and parents.

IMAGE DELIVERY

Your proofing gallery will be available within 5 days of your session. You’ll receive an email with your private gallery link and simple instructions for selecting your favorite images. Your final edited gallery will be delivered 2-3weeks after your selections are submitted.
